Habit

We are all essentially 'creatures of habit.' We love the safety net of a repeated pattern. However we yearn for change (as long as it benefits us!)
In a training-sense, we subconsciously favor certain styles of workout (if they are a favorite)

1. Even in a disciplined manner that constructs a balanced training protocol - there is huge risk of oft-repeated patterns and the ensuing risk of overuse.

2. Remember the workout is the stimulus and the adaptation the result.
a.) hence we want variety and fullness of stimulus.

3. Much recent advance in Training methodology has occurred in this vain
a.) With various styles of "chaos" training applied to try and maintain fresh, varied and wholeness of stimulus

4. Pineapple evolves this to a higher echelon
