Box
Made of 6 "pieces", put together in a way to create a 'containment'
Now not one of those pieces on it's own could hold anything. It is the construction together, and some attachment to hold the whole thing into place - that's the key.

Tick-tock, tick-tock

Flag in the Wind
I was discussing with one of the Pineapple engineers earlier today, about his meditation on the Pineapple Modahl
He gave me a beautiful story
Two monks
were watching a flag fluttering in the wind.
.
One said,
"It's the wind that moves."

The other said,
"I disagree, it's the flag that moves."

But another monk
standing nearby, said,
"It's not the wind,
nor the flag."

I think we seem to lack an appreciation and awareness of process.
Everything is always in some state of flow - but the "now, now, now" mindset of modern society lacks the appreciation and awareness.
Think about this

a.) The end-result is that I just want a Pineapple to harvest then eat it.

I think alot of people don't pay enough respect to the journey/process, and are aware and appreciative enough to that journey.

Sheep 1
1. Shearing Sheep!
2. I've heard alot of comments about instability training.
a.) yes - done correctly it is an advantageous form of training
3. Done incorrectly - and the traumatic effects of "shearing" come into play
a.) Horizontal forces that can cause enormous and sometimes disabling injury.
4. Remember the goal of training is to create a positive adaptation
a.) which is resulted from broaching a threshold point.
5. Following the 'sheep' with all levels of instability training (because it looks cool (in many instances) - is a very potentially dangerous journey

Conker
1. An old British game using the "core" of horse-chesnut 'seeds'
2. Played between 2 people, who each take a swing at the other person's conker with their own conker (the conker's are attached to string, through a small hole made through the middle of the conker)
3. Victory is hailed when one conker is broken.
4. Interesting aspects onto life.
a.) It's never stationary
b.) You're either 'winning' or 'losing'
c.) There's always another battle to become a victor if you decide to 'compete' again
d.) Toughness (in all the aspects of it) - wins out in the majority of all cases.
This reminds me a little of the endless "finger-pointing' going on with the current economic challenges out there
The answer is to toughen up (in all manner's of that verb)
And seek a fresh battle and become a victor.
To my mind the ultimate in capitalism is what will bring the upturn in economies. The creation of fresh excellence, and the ensuing job creation, and capital revival

I think in the same vein - there are only 2 types of workout
I. Workout that stimulates you at a fresh level, broaching a threshold intensity level and causing an adaptation
II. Workout's that are at a level the person knows they can comfortably achieve
Doesn't take alot to work out which form of "Question" gets Answers that translates into Solutions

Celery
Interesting 'food' - as it can actually require more energy to consume than it nutritionally provides!
